1966 is a global agency operating out of London headed by Chairman Terry Byrne and supported by a team of eight people. Originally founded to exclusively manage the commercial interests of the England Football Team, this role includes full representation and management of the player's commercial programme and relationship with the Football Association and its partners. 1966 recently extended this contract until 2014.

1966 also manages the successful England Footballers Foundation that has raised over £1.5 million for charitable causes following the team’s decision to donate their match fees and dedicate their time to chosen charity partners.

In addition to working with the England football team, 1966 has a variety of business interests and activities across sport, fashion and film managing over £26million worth of business.

Earlier this year 1966 teamed up with the country’s top medical consultants Dr Ian Beasley and Gary Lewin to create The Team Medics to introduce medical facilities and advice into international projects and to provide the highest quality sports referral service in the UK.

Recently the company has established an exciting collaboration with fashion agency Elegantly Waisted London to fuse sport and fashion to create designs from initial concept that carries through to both domestic and international marketplace.

1966 executively produced the recent release ‘Bonded by Blood’ and the much anticipated ‘Weighed In’ featuring Bob Hoskins set for release in summer 2011.
